Karaoke progress

I finally got confirmation that they're willing to give me a chance to run Karaoke at the bar! Ordered the DVD/karaoke player, and I'm looking for a good starter collection that I can build on. That's the key component which will make or break the deal, since selection is the main source of dissatisfaction with the current DJs. Once my setup is ready, they'll try me out on a Saturday to see how it goes.

The DJ was pretty bad on Friday: he dissed people's song selections a couple times, and had the mics hot enough to get feedback. It'll be easy to do better, and I won't feel guilty replacing them. Apparently the owner was impressed by the karaoke at another bar on a Tuesday, so I'll check them out this week to pick up some pointers.

Let me know what artists y'all want to see! Already planning to have System of a Down and Eminiem for sure.
